Mystery in the House
People never understand the trauma. They can affected the results of it. They can dis-cover from them. They cannot understand the moods of them. Traumas or the victims of them are the reason of the stories; but, even the perfect story about any single trauma gave only an affection of the case to people. Therefore, the truth of the case is unreachable and become unnecessary. Affection is the necessary one and becomes reachable meaning.

In Nevşehir, there was a tragedy in the house of Yalın's family. The sick man, father of the family, Ali Murat sat on his white seat all day. Even some nights, he fall asleep in there. Of course, everything becomes meaningless within the dark space for a blind person; but also, his body took control over his mind and refused to move because of the Syphilis. His wife, Meryem became a poor woman after losing the strength with complimentary dedication to his husband. This was complimentary dedication because there was no cause to live for Ali Murat. He started to lose his mind inevitably. That leads to destructive effects on childhood of their sons. Ahmet remembered some healthy memories about his parents from his first seven years. He lived the process of destruction with them. However, Serdar was born into the destruction. Serdar accepted and normalized the behaviors of the father more than Ahmet. Ahmet remembered those years with disappointment and sadness but Serdar had a different relationship with his father. He loved him and he found interesting things about his father. When he was 14, he suddenly found in a full of hate situation to the father motivelessly. He left the city to live in Istanbul, before the death of the father. Ahmet defined those hate with adolescent of Serdar but he never estimated that Serdar publicized the impressions of his father with imagination. When he was a child, Serdar viewed and investigated the father in front of the white seat. The emptiness of his eyes always was an inspiration for works of Serdar. He wrote a story based on that inspirations. "The story of the eye" known as a masterpiece even today. However, it involved full of terror about his parents. Later the first publication, he added the information parts about the story into the end of the book, deviant thoughts and experiments of Serdar's about his family revealed. According to his explanations, the father became mad sat over the seat, he abused Serdar many times. After the death, the poor mother lost her mind too. Syphilis "may" causes madness and serdar thought that really happened and it directly infects his mother. The fans of Serdar learned that tragedy before his bigger brother. Ahmet could not accept that. He believed the innocence of his father, he was just a victim of the fate. He aggressively rejected the story of his little brother. Both were poor but they never became insane.
Serdar died two years ago when he was forty two. The reputation of him continued to grow and it caused firing the people curiosities about the life of the writer. Because of the clear explanation of the writer, most of his reader know about the truth about his family. It is not important that informations are true or just the story of manipulation. Stories are revealed and even a person, who does not read the book, can know something about Yalın's family. Meanwhile, Ahmet keeps silent. He avoids any kind of speculation. His wife and their children are the most important things to interest. Ahmet always wants to dedicate himself to his children. However, the unexpected death of his little brother shakes him. Of course, there was huge characteristic difference among the brothers (even their physical characteristics were different like left-handed Serdar and right-handed Ahmet), but he has feelings on him. He tries to control himself against the curiosity but the curiosity of his children emerges. They hear lot of stories about their grandparents; that is the over the control of Ahmet. Furthermore, they trigger the curiosity of Ahmet about the thoughts of Serdar. Inevitably, Ahmet becomes a good reader of his brother. He sees himself in a crucial position to clean the honor of his blood.

First, Ahmet needs any kind of information from relevant books. All metaphors turn into clues for his tracking. Ahmet creates a distinction between him and writer to avoid identical attractions but the result breaks the distinction. Persona of the writer precedes the persona of Serdar. Then identification starts. He finds himself in a journey, the imagination of Serdar was strong and Ahmet could not realized that before. This is a different experiments from his memories. Separated point of views trigger Ahmet to examine the past again. However, like all journeys, there are stagnation points to pause for resting. That points suddenly reminds the aim of him to read a book. It could not be a journey, it is only a piece of information. Ahmet inclined to adapt the real life, more easily then his little brother, instead of the world of imaginations.
In the books, the only clear thing, without any metaphor, is a girl. It is not like fiction character that came out from Serdar's mind. Ahmet, assumes that girl as a real and he can places on the ground of the life of his brother. There is a girl, who lives in Levent, matches with the qualities of the character of Serdar. Ahmet thinks she is the one who was in love with Serdar. He decides to go her house. Book refers that old, duplex house has a red roof with fence gate. Also, there is an interesting detail on the surface of the red roof, which is a lasting brown stain like a mole of the body. If the house is real, Ahmet thinks that he can find easily that in Levent. He primarily walks around the main street slowly. This walking takes three hours, but he determinedly enters the side streets. Time goes and Ahmet loses the hope. There are apartment buildings and some artificial parks in the darkness. Ahmet raises his hands and sees the sky. He waits something mysterious but then he noticed that his family probably waits him too. He smiles. Ridiculous ideas left him after he gave up with that smile. But he hesitates. Now, that smile has a meaning because the roof with brown stain shows itself to Ahmet. The other qualities between fiction and real one is totally different. However, that little must be the most important thing to approach for Ahmet and he is absolutely sure about that. She must live in the attic. The only problem is time because it is too late to knock a door. Does'nt matter. The unexpected courage dominates his will. He makes himself presentable for the host. Excitement super-cedes the courage. Ahmet supposes he will see his brother in a second. He cannot knocks the door but rings the bell. After a minute, she opens the exterior door. Instead of elevator, Ahmet uses stairs to shakes off his nerve.
"Hello?" called an old woman waits someone inside the door. Ahmet sees her and slows down.
"Hello madame. It's me," The old woman seems frightened. Ahmet comes outside of the door and added "i am not a stranger. Don't worry." Suddenly, the old woman becomes angry.
"Is my ex-husband to send you here? I know that, don't deny it!" Ahmet starts to worry.
"No, no lady. I am here because... because i am looking for the woman."
"Isn't it me?" she asked. Now, Ahmet trusts himself.
"No. She is friend of my brother. Serdar, do you know him?"
"Who is Serdar? the woman... Are you kidding me? She becomes angry again.
"Is there any woman lives in here? I am looking for her. She must be here. Please." The old woman completely misses the point. There is a silence within a minute. Then she breaks it.
"I have been living for thirty years in here. Your woman is not lives here."
"No no, she is not my woman. She must be here. Don't you know Serdar?"
"Who is Serdar?"
"My brother" Ahmet loses himself. He looks desperate.
"Sorry mr. I think you came to the wrong place."
"But, she must be here. I know that. Also... The brown stain. Yes, the brown stain. How can you explain it?" The old woman looks dread.
"I don't understand. Which stain?"
"In the roof. There is a stain in the roof." She looks the persistent face of him.
"Enough. I knew that. My ex-husband send you here to annoy me. Tell him. There is no way..."
"No, no, I found that."
"There is no way to see me. Tell him. Enough!" Then she shuts the door to Ahmet's face.

Ahmet does not waive his case. It starts to corrupt his life. His family notices that something gets wrong but he refuses to explain. He reads Serdar's books secretly because he prefers to hide the paranoia from his closes. In the course of time, he understands the books have nothing about his search. As a result, he notices that something he miss. The material is not the book, his real life is the crucial thing. But he knew nothing about Serdar's life. The saddest thing is no one knows nothing. In his interviews Serdar protects every personal and special things very well. The relationship among two brothers ended nearly ten years ago before Serdar dies. Yet he remembered that where he was live from their old talking. It is no coincident, he was lived in Mecidiyeköy. Therefore, after the long pursuit of the address of Serdar, he goes to his old house with hurry. Irrelevant people live there in these times; but may be his old neighbors can say something. Most of them do not remember Serdar, a few people say unimportant details about him. There is only one exception; for the claim, Serdar left his house years ago and started to live his hometown. Ahmet cannot understand that decision because of the sad memories on them. Moreover, as its seen that, Serdar had horrible perceptions and his writings was kind of attitude that minimize the effects of trauma. Meanwhile, the aims of Ahmet changed totally. He forgot cleaning the family honor. He has an unknown obsession with Serdar. The way he dies is also the part of the whole mystery. One of his scenario about the mystery, Serdar went crazy or/and killed himself after the beating from the trauma. His resistance fall short. Maybe, there is no transformation about the "unknown" obsession. He wants to understand the Serdar's trauma since the very beginning. They had similar childhood according to Ahmet but something proceed different.

Four months later, Ahmet looks at the old ruined house in front of that. He opens the door with his historical key. The house seems clean and quiet ordinate. However, there are not much things to ordinate. His clothes are worn. He has a bag in his right hand. He takes out new modest dresses. The house turns into home. The eyes of Ahmet are collapsed and there is a calm expression of his face instead of excitement. He makes a sandwich and goes to his old room that was shared with brothers. There is only one bed in the room and it was used for ten years. He sits there and eats the sandwich using his left hand. Then he focussed on the seat which was positioned there by Serdar. Ahmet looks at to the his father's white seat for a while before he sleeps.
The End...
Under the number 1, there is an exposition part. I introduced the characters and tried to create setting structure. Conflicts between two characters emerged that part but operated in the other parts. Their father (family) is the main material to cause the conflict. Both had separated experience from the father (according to Serdar). However, the difference also related to their characters too. There is subtext about the journey of Ahmet that is knowing his little brother. It starts with the decision of Ahmet related to discover Serdar's book with the beginning of confrontation part. Section 2, and most of the section 3 are named confrontation. Ahmet tried to solve the conflict and started to change his life for the sake of resolution. His character started to change too during that period. When he realized that characteristic change (caused giving up his family and life) the resolution part begins. He came to end of that discovery and his transformation finalized (or dis-covered his childhood) into another person.
With the starting of publication of Serdar's experiments and thoughts, Ahmet put him in opposite side but it was never big issue for him. After the death of Serdar and related to that growing his reputation, the conflict came out for Ahmet. It created the tension of the story. Throughout the discovery, he had tension with the old woman (lived same place with lovers of Serdar for the claim of his brother) and as a protagonist with himself. He pressed any kind of tension before the death of his brother, breaking the press is a tension too.
There is a heterodiegetic narration in the story. Characters and the writer have distinction. Discovery and transformation are the master plots of the story.
